“Ms. Araki is one of the finest school counselor leaders in the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD). She brings a plethora of experiences to her craft as an educator and school counselor. Ms. Araki is a natural leader and demonstrates a unique ability to connect with students, staff, and families… Most recently Ms. Araki has embarked on a new endeavor for SUHSD as Head Counselor for the district’s newest 7th to 13th grade virtual academy. Ms. Araki is leading the way in creating a school which gives students choice and the opportunity to learn at their own pace in an online environment, while having all of the benefits and the supports of a comprehensive school.”
